Our staff is comprised of subject matter experts and experienced partners to cover all aspects of client Compliance guidance needs.   Led by George Hanible, Master Compliance Administrator, our team has over 50 years of experience working with Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action programs, Labor Compliance and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise programs.

 

Formerly with Skanska USA, as the Director of Contract Compliance, and a member of the Board, George worked on numerous private and public contracts, and was involved daily in all aspects of multiple project compliance efforts. In his role, George assisted with over $5 Billion in Western Region procurement in less than six years, and significantly improved visibility and community awareness for the company, as well as successfully guiding the company through eight EEO and DBE audits.

 

Areas of responsibility included:

 

 

• EEO Officer for the West Region, as well as creating EEO processes for the US

• Reviewing Project Labor Agreements (PLAs) and acting as a liaison to the unions

• Tracking Certified Payroll for union and non-union open shop projects

• Providing technical support and outreach as the Community Project lead

• Creating EEO / DBE utilization plans for over 4 Billion dollars of Federally funded contracts

• Conducted EEO and Business Ethics training for all West region employees

• Labor Compliance, EEO and DBE audits; reviewed/responded to conciliation agreements, made any needed corrective action

• Creating monthly DBE/EEO reporting and tracking processes

• DBE Pre-bid Vetting and Documentation

• Managed reports for tracking and reporting Trucking credits

• Business Ethics, DBE Commercially Useful Function and EEO Title VII Trainings

 

We partner with experts in Workforce Development, offering fully funded training to create a pool of pre-qualified employee candidates, with specific outreach to Veterans and women.  Often, participating employers receive significant tax credit incentives. We have developed strategic partnerships for targeted outreach/advertising of employment opportunities to help reach project objectives.  Documentation and tracking can demonstrate efforts in local hire, community involvement, and specific outreach to women and Veterans.  We provide resources for EEO / DBE staffing on projects to meet compliance regulations – often, companies need to designate EEO Project officers, rather than assigning someone from HR to cover those roles.

​Our Compliance Marketing team is headed up by Betsy Hartwell, with over 15 years' experience working in the Construction Compliance industry, as a Marketing Consultant and professional Copywriter.  Our effective content can help you develop your own Compliance resources. Not only do we create specific materials for client projects, but we also work with companies to enhance their overall Compliance Platform, by helping develop your processes and procedures, supporting your  Community events, and creating training, and public-facing outreach materials, as marketing and publicity components of your Compliance program.

 

Additionally, CMP partners have had extensive experience in media and Public Relations, and sit on numerous Boards, like the AGC of California Construction Education Foundation, Veterans Advocacy Group of America, and advisory committees promoting diversity and equality in the workplace.
